Illinois High School Soccer - Round Lake knocks off Elgin
August 30, 2025: Round Lake, IL 60073 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) and the visiting Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), witnessed Round Lake's soccer team triumph over Elgin by a tally of 7-0.
With the triumph, Round Lake improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers host Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Maroons play the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 5. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
