Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Northern Lehigh nudged by Bangor
August 30, 2025: Slatington, PA 18080 Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Bangor moves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Slaters host Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Notre Dame lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilson Area for a Colonial outing on Thursday, September 4. Northern Lehigh will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.
