Illinois High School Soccer - Larkin knocks off Belvidere North
August 30, 2025: Elgin, IL 60123 The Larkin Royals soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Belvidere North Blue Thunder to 1 in the Royals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Royals now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Glenbard South for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 3. Larkin will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-2 non-league St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Belvidere North moves to 2-1 on the year. The Blue thunder travel to Guilford (Rockford, IL) to play the Vikings in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 1-0. Guilford 0-0 in their recent non-league game against Huntley (Huntley, IL)
