Illinois High School Soccer - Niles North knocks off Mather
August 30, 2025: Skokie, IL 60077 Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mather Rangers (Chicago, IL), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Niles North moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) to clash with the Ramblers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Loyola Academy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Taft (Chicago, IL)
The Rangers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Mather will clash with a Wildkits team coming off a 1-1 non-league Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 0-0.
