West Virginia High School Soccer - Shady Spring nudges Princeton
August 30, 2025: Princeton, WV 24740 In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Shady Spring Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Princeton Tigers.
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, James Monroe was edged by Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 7-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Princeton will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Red Devils come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV).
