Iowa High School Volleyball - St. Edmond can't get by Aplington-Parkersburg
August 30, 2025: Fort Dodge, IA 50501 Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Aplington-Parkersburg advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Falcons host Valley Lutheran (Cedar Falls, IA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 0-2. Valley Lutheran lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against West Central (Maynard, IA)
The Gaels now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Storm Lake for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. St. Edmond will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-1.
