Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) followers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now have a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Gunter will play a Bearcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Blue Ridge drops to 17-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2.
