In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Booker T. Washington Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hillcrest Patriots.

The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, UMS-Wright Prep beat Bryant (Irvington, AL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots play the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a 7A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
