August 30, 2025: Columbia, SC 29223 Branchville Yellow Jackets (Branchville, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Branchville improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC) to meet the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 8-2.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Richland Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cane Bay (Summerville, SC).
