The Canyon Hills Rattlers volleyball squad (San Diego, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA)

With the win, Grossmont improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Foothillers host Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to meet the Chieftains in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. The Chieftains enter the contest with a record of 3-5. Clairemont lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mission Bay (San Diego, CA)

Next, the Rattlers meet the San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Canyon Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cavers go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA).
