Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the host McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY), 2-0 in a non-league game.

Next up, the Redhounds face the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a District 50 game, on Saturday, August 30. Corbin will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Colonels go into the game with a 7-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY).

The Raiders (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Warriors go into the District 48 game with a 0-5 record.
