Evansville Central Bears (Evansville, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Evansville Central improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Bears travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. New Albany lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN)

Next, the Panthers meet the Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Corydon Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN).
