Texas High School Volleyball - Denison can't hold off Tyler
August 30, 2025: Denison, TX 75020 In Saturday's non-league match, the Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) volleyball squad tipped the host Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX), by a margin of 2-1.
The Lions now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Texas for a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, September 2. Tyler will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Denison drops to 11-11 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Ranchview (Irving, TX) to battle the Wolves in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 2-9. Ranchview lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Naaman Forest (Garland, TX)
