In Saturday's non-league match, the Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA) volleyball squad toppled the host Foothill Trojans (Bakersfield, CA), by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Golden Valley improves its record to 4-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano, CA) to encounter the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 6-3.
