August 30, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35242 Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Fort Payne improves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Guntersville won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AL)
Next, the Knights meet the Holy Family Catholic Tornadoes (Birmingham, AL) in a 2A Area 9 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
