West Virginia High School Volleyball - Gilmer County can't hold off Poca
August 30, 2025: Poca, WV 25159 The Poca The Dots held off the visiting Gilmer County Titans volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The The Dots now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4. Poca will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 3-1 league win over Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Gilmer County drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV) to confront the Cee-Bees in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. The Cee-Bees enter the match with a record of 4-4. Clay-Battelle lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)
