Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), saw West's volleyball squad notch a victory over Golden Valley by a score of 2-0.

With the win, West improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Granite Hills (Porterville, CA) to encounter the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30.
