August 30, 2025: Seymour, IA 52590 Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Grand View Christian improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to North Polk (Alleman, IA) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Comets go into the test with a record of 4-6. North Polk won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Boone (Boone, IA)
Next, the Warriors meet the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Sabers come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IA).
