Florida High School Volleyball - La Cueva tips Merritt Island

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting La Cueva Bears volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Merritt Island Mustangs.

The Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Seahawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Sunlake edged Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Winter Haven Blue Devils (Winter Haven, FL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 30. Merritt Island will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lakeland (Lakeland, FL).
