South Dakota High School Volleyball - Todd County can't get by Lead-Deadwood
August 30, 2025: Lead, SD 57754 The Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers edged the visiting Todd County Falcons volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Golddiggers confront the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, September 2. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Bison go into the game with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Custer (Custer, SD).
With the loss, Todd County drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to play the Black Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Black Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Platte/Geddes won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD)
