Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) and the host St. Henry Redskins (St. Henry, OH), saw Newark Catholic's volleyball squad nudge St. Henry by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Newark Catholic improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Shawnee (Lima, OH) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Shawnee won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Elida (Elida, OH)

The Redskins now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Monroe for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. St. Henry will encounter a Jets squad coming off a 3-2 league win over National Trail (New Paris, OH). The Jets record now stands at 1-4.
