St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Notre Dame de Sion Storm (Kansas City, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran South (St. Louis, MO). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Storm play the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 2. Notre Dame de Sion will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bolivar (Bolivar, MO).
