Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Upper Merion Area over Notre Dame-Green Pond

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) and the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA), observed Upper Merion Area's volleyball team top Notre Dame-Green Pond by a count of 2-0.

The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA). The Blue Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Nazareth Area achieved victory over Northampton (Northampton, PA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Crusaders now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwestern Lehigh for a Colonial battle on Tuesday, September 2. Notre Dame-Green Pond will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
