The Gilmer Bobcats volleyball team (Ellijay, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA)

The (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians enter the AAA Area 7 challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Lumpkin County was dropped by North Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a AAA Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, August 31. Gilmer will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA).
