The Dale County Warriors volleyball team (Midland City, AL), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Samson Tigers (Samson, AL)

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Geneva County (Hartford, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) in a 4A Area 2 bout, on Thursday, September 2. Dale County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Goshen (Goshen, AL).
