Kentucky High School Soccer - Meade County can't get by Atherton
August 31, 2022: Louisville, KY 40205 In Wednesday's non-league game, the Atherton Ravens (Louisville, KY) soccer squad tipped the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), by a count of 4-3.
The Ravens now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host North Hardin for a non-league test on Saturday, September 3. Atherton will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Meade County drops to 0-4 on the season. The Green waves host Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY) to meet the Cougars in a District 11 test on Monday, September 12. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-2.
