The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County was ripped by Salem (Salem, VA), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Bengals now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dan River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 8. Bassett will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 50-24 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
