Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spiders confront the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Concord will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 1-1 non-league West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
