August 31, 2022: St. Charles, IL 60174 St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Saints confront the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 3. St. Charles East will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL).
The Eagles now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheaton Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 3. Leyden will confront a Warriors team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
