Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Southern Alamance will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC).
