The Centennial Cougars topped the visiting Hopkins Royals volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maple Grove for a Northwest Suburban test on Thursday, September 8. Centennial will confront a Crimson team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Crimson record now stands at 0-3.

The Royals (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Lightning enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Eastview gained a win over Woodbury (Woodbury, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
