North Carolina High School Volleyball - Triton routed by Midway
August 31, 2022: Dunn, NC 28366 The Triton Hawks volleyball team (Erwin, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC)
The Raiders (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles enter the Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, East Bladen defeated South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a All American 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Triton will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC).
