August 31, 2023: El Cajon, CA 92019 The St. Augustine Saints football team (San Diego, CA), was beaten 35-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA)
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Eastlake achieved victory over Del Norte (San Diego, CA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 2. St. Augustine will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 50-6 league win over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-0.
