August 31, 2023: Danville, VA 24541 In Thursday's non-league match, the host George Washington Eagles football squad scored a good 14-0 victory over the Amherst County Lancers.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. George Washington will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
The Lancers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
