August 31, 2023: Texico, NM 88135 The Santa Rosa Lions football squad scored 22 points and restricted the host Texico Wolverines to 16 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laguna Acoma for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 9. Santa Rosa will play a Hawks squad coming off a 44-22 non-league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
