August 31, 2023: New London, NC 28127 In Thursday's non-league contest, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Comets battle the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 5. North Stanly will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
With the loss, Asheboro moves to 1-6 on the year. The Blue comets travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 6.
