August 31, 2023: Greenville, SC 29607 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC) and the host St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC), saw Mauldin's volleyball squad beat St. Joseph's Catholic by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Mauldin upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Mavericks travel to South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to play the Thoroughbreds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Thoroughbreds go into the bout with a record of 2-0. South Aiken won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Evans (Evans, GA)
The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. St. Joseph's Catholic will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
