August 31, 2023: Kingwood, WV 26537 The Preston Knights soccer team (Kingwood, WV), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV)
With the win, Buckhannon-Upshur advances its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host North Marion (Farmington, WV) to play the Huskies in a Big Ten outing on Tuesday, September 5. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 2-0. North Marion won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV)
In their next game, the Knights play the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 2. Preston will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).
