The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats (Chicago, IL), saw Hancock's volleyball squad nip Back of the Yards College Prep by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL) to play the Cyclones in a Chicago Public Red South bout on Tuesday, September 5.
