August 31, 2023: Camilla, GA 31730 Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Baker County Bears (Newton, GA), 2-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) in a 1A Area 1 match, on Thursday, September 7. Mitchell County will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 3-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA).
With the loss, Baker County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to battle the Red Devils in a 1A Area 1 match on Thursday, September 7. The Red Devils come into the match with a record of 1-5. Randolph-Clay lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Brooks County (Quitman, GA)
