The Blue River Valley Vikings volleyball team (Mt. Summit, IN), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN)

The Royals (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Union (Modoc, IN). The Rockets enter the Mid-Eastern challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Union was dropped by Wes-Del (Gaston, IN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Blue River Valley will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN).
