Oregon High School Volleyball - Philomath tips Corvallis
August 31, 2023: Corvallis, OR 97330 Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Warriors battle the Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. Philomath will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Henley (Klamath Falls, OR).
With the loss, Corvallis drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to McKay (Salem, OR) to battle the Royal Scots in a 5A Mid-Willamette match on Tuesday, September 5. The Royal Scots come into the match with a record of 0-3. McKay lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Thurston (Springfield, OR)
