In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Mount Ayr Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Essex Trojans.

The Raiders (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines come into the Pride of Iowa battle with a 2-2 record.
