The Hoover Huskies volleyball team (Clendenin, WV), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV)

The Timberwolves (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders enter the Mountain State challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Huntington nipped George Washington (Charleston, WV), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Hoover will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
