August 31, 2023: Rainier, OR 97048 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Vernonia Loggers (Vernonia, OR), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Columbians battle the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range contest, on Thursday, September 7. Rainier will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
With the loss, Vernonia drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Grant Union (John Day, OR) to battle the Prospectors in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 2. The Prospectors come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Grant Union won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Union (Union, OR)
