August 31, 2023: Independence, MO 64053 Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Van Horn Falcons (Independence, MO), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Central Indians (St. Joseph, MO) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 4. Truman will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO).
With the loss, Van Horn drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO) to battle the Guardians in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 5.
