August 31, 2024: Mercer, PA 16137 The Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) soccer the host Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA), 5-2 in Saturday's non-league test.
With the triumph, Mohawk Area advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a WPIAL A 1 test on Monday, September 9. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Mustangs now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Slippery Rock for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Mercer will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-0.
