August 31, 2024: Mundelein, IL 60060 The Mundelein Mustangs football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnsburg for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Mundelein will meet a Skyhawks squad coming off a 35-7 non-league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, WI). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Grant Community drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
