August 31, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99516 The South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) football trounced the visiting Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK), 47-14 in Saturday's league outing.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wasilla for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. South Anchorage will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 28-7 league win over North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Juneau-Douglas drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Crimson bears travel to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. The Broncos come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Bishop Union won 29-0 in their recent non-league outing against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
