Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Riverside nudges Greater Nanticoke Area
August 31, 2024: Nanticoke, PA 18634 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Riverside Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA). The Chargers enter the Lackawanna - Division III outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Carbondale Area was edged by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 4-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 outing, on Saturday, September 7. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record.
